I am currently being sued by et Acceptance LLC..I'm taking it to court!! Do I have a chance?

I live in NJ.I am currently being sued by et Acceptance LLC for a debt owed to Bank of America for the amount of approx $6000. However et Acceptance is claiming I owe a total of $13192.96. I am a full time student graduating as a nurse on May 12th of this year in basically two months. I know I owe some of the debt and want to start to make payments, but last time attempted to do this they wouldn't take anything less that $250 a month which I did during the summer a couple years back while not in school. However, I can not afford to pay much at this moment. I work per diem which can range anywhere from 5 to 13 hours a week. Is there a way that I can possibly have them give me more time to actually graduate and get a job as a nurse, I've been working hard to fix my credit, I was 18 when I received this credit card and was extremely dumb, but now I'm 24 and thinking greatly about my future, how can I delay the process of judgement? I dont want them to garnish my wages once I start working as a RN...Oh yea...before I forget...I was thinking of going to court requesting sometype of payment plan..I can literally afford no more than $50 a month...then once I begin to work as an RN save a large amount of money most likely about 40% of the $6000, the original debt about $2400 and hopefully they'll take the lump sum then and leave me alone....is this too much or is it worth a shot??
