Propane vent free logs psi question?

I just got a 30,000 btu vent free gas logs set. I know that the pressure at the logs should be I think 11" WC, My regulator that comes out of the tank, says that its 11" WC with 1/2 psi output. This regulator worked fine with a set of logs I just took out, but that seems to be way to small of a psi for the new ones. The original logs were not this big, I'm just trying to find out if this same reg. will work with the new set.
