Question regarding the CSPIA?
I have an Etsy shop and I make crocheted items and jewelry. I also make small dolls from wooden spools and twine. They have small parts and are for decorative use. They are not intended as toys. If I have a disclaimer on the dolls that states that is that enough to be in compliance with the CSPIA laws. Or since it is a doll does it still have to have all the testing done, even though it's not inteded for play? If I specify it's not intended for play and someone chooses to give it to their child, am I liable? And while it's not going to be marketed as a toy, but as a collector item is it not considered a toy at that point?
