In isotopes what is the term natural abundance?

If there are three variations of carbon, then there are three isotopes of carbon. If an element only has one isotope its natural abundance would be 100%, because it is the only isotope. (an element may have more isotopes than its naturally occuring isotopes but because you only care about "natural abundance" you only need to focus on the naturally occuring isotopes).
